Outpatient physical rehabilitation
An outpatient rehabilitation program allows patients to stay at home during their recovery and receive therapy on their schedule. It is usually less intensive than inpatient rehabilitation.

Outpatient rehabilitation services are available if you have been discharged from an inpatient stay or if you would benefit from the lower intensity of outpatient care.
Occupational therapy
Occupational therapy aims to improve the motor skills you need to perform everyday tasks. We will work to help you:
- Develop fine motor skills
- Develop transfer skills
- Improve daily living activities such as bathing and dressing
- Improve strength and coordination involving upper body extremities
Physical therapy
Physical therapy works to alleviate pain and gain strength and mobility. As part of your physical therapy program, we will work with you to:
- Develop transfer techniques
- Improve your balance and coordination
- Increase your strength
- Teach you to use a walker or cane
- Reduce your pain
Pelvic floor physical therapy
Our specially trained physical therapists can assist you with urogynecological conditions, such as weakened pelvic muscles. This condition may cause problems with bladder and bowel control. Speech and language therapy
Our speech-language pathologists offer comprehensive speech, language and swallowing services for adults and children. We demonstrate compassionate care by developing a program that meets your individual needs, focusing on cognitive skills, communication, memory, activities of daily living and swallowing.
Adult speech therapy
There are ways speech therapy can help you as an adult following a health event or surgery. You may benefit from speech and language therapy if you have Alzheimer’s disease, muscular dystrophy,hearing impairments, laryngectomy, Parkinson’s disease, stuttering disorders and voice and resonance disorders. Speech therapy can also be a part of your stroke care plan.
Pediatric speech therapy
Common diagnoses addressed in pediatric speech therapy services are developmental and cognitive disorders and their associated syndromes, cleft lip and palate, stuttering disorders and voice disorders.
